BPC (Body Protection Compound) is a protein found in gastric juices in the stomach. It protects the stomach mucosa and prevents ulcers. Although not fully understood, research has shown that it can increase growth hormone receptors in tendons, thus helping with healing. In response to tendon and ligament injury, BPC-157 accelerates healing by increasing type 1 collagen in these tissues as well as increasing blood flow to damaged tissues.
